Under the backcountry trail rehabilitation program, trails in the area may be temporarily closed due to construction. Please be aware of construction projects on trails and avoid temporary closure areas

About this Area/PLUZ

Established in March, 1998 to restrict motorized access to certain areas, and protect ecologically sensitive backcountry areas from the adverse effects of such activity.

Area/PLUZ is 1,003 square kilometres (387.3 square miles).
